At Benin Palace, council delegation hears a call for national unity

The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, received a presidential campaign council delegation led by Senator Abdulaziz Yari at the palace in Benin City. The engagement was reported in September 2026.

The delegation’s visit

Yari said the delegation had come to seek prayers and blessings. Edo State Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa also addressed the gathering.
