Wet-season farm-input support

The July 2025 programme organised subsidised fertiliser through a distribution committee and local government headquarters across Zamfara. Smallholder farmers were the main intended participants.

Bags were offered at an announced price of ₦20,000, with transport to local government headquarters provided without a delivery charge. This page records the historical arrangement; it is not a current sales notice.

The farmer’s perspective

A later community film follows a farmer in Talata Mafara who describes the pressure created by limited access to fertiliser. Farming supports his household, and the inputs available before planting shape the work he can undertake. He explains his experience of receiving assistance and the importance of reaching farmers directly.

His August 2026 account gives a personal perspective on agricultural support. It is separate from the July 2025 programme arrangements and does not establish a new combined distribution figure. The account also does not measure an increase in yields across the state.
