Senator Yari takes national consultations to Jos and Bauchi
Meetings in Jos and Bauchi brought Senator Abdulaziz Yari together with religious and community leaders during the campaign council’s national consultations. The engagements focused on listening, peace and the relationships that connect communities across state boundaries.

Senator Abdulaziz Yari continued his national consultation programme with visits to Jos and Bauchi in September 2026.
Meetings in two states
In Jos, he met Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir. In Bauchi, the engagement included Khalifa Sheikh Ibrahim, son of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi. The conversations addressed peace, unity and national progress.
The meetings formed part of Senator Yari's responsibilities with the Presidential Campaign Council. They provided opportunities to hear community perspectives while explaining the council's work in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Relationships beyond a single meeting
Traditional and religious networks connect people across places and generations. Meeting their leaders is one way to understand the concerns that shape everyday life outside the country's political centres.
