The engagement created space for discussion about peace, unity and the responsibilities of religious leadership. Faith leaders remain part of everyday community life, offering guidance to families and helping people navigate difficult circumstances.

Senator Yari listened to participants and exchanged views on the relationships that support public trust. Prayers were offered for Zamfara and for peace and progress across Nigeria.

A continuing conversation

The gathering forms part of his engagement with religious, traditional and community institutions. These conversations allow local concerns to be heard beyond formal political meetings.

The presence of Chief Imams from Zamfara’s local government areas gave the consultation a statewide reach. It brought the Senator into the same room as religious leaders whose work is rooted in their communities.
