A scholarship keeps a university ambition alive

A place at university can be the beginning of a new life. It can also remain out of reach when a family cannot meet the costs that follow admission. For one scholarship student in Gusau, support from the Senator A. A. Senator Yari Scholarship Initiative made the difference between an interrupted ambition and the opportunity to continue studying.

Finding a way back to education

Education assistance is one part of Senator Yari’s wider community work in Zamfara. It sits alongside health outreach and support for livelihoods, addressing a stage of life when the cost of participation can determine whether an opportunity is taken up at all.
